Notice the coat of arm at the center of our foc t-shirt?
Here's the coloured version of it which was specially designed to suit our theme,"Conquer!"
A simple yet brilliant idea to represent our theme. Why so?
Let's take a look at the elements :
* Crest: Crown
King of all Kings!
* Wreath: Crown of thorns
Jesus died for us on the cross and conquered our sins
* Mantling: Palm leaves
Palm Sunday emphasize the glory and victory in the work of salvation when He died for us
* Helm: Dove
A symbol of the Holy Spirit. "Not by might, not by power, but by the spirit of God"
* Shield: Agnus Dei
Agnus Dei is a visual representation of Jesus as a lamb holding a cross. The cross rests on the lamb's shoulder and is held in its right foreleg. Often the cross will have a white banner suspended from it charged with a red cross (similar to St George's Cross), though the cross may also be rendered in different colours. Sometimes the lamb is shown lying atop a book with seven seals hanging from it. This is a reference to the imagery in the Book of Revelation 5:1-13, ff. Occasionally, the lamb may be depicted bleeding from the area of the heart (Cf. Revelation 5:6), symbolizing Jesus' shedding of his blood to take away the sins of the world (Cf. John 1:29, 1:36).
* Supporters: Angels-
blowing the truimph of joy
* Motto: Gloria in Excelsis Deo
Glory to God in the highest

Every FOC, God gives the CSS a different message, and truly this year's one is "Not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of God". When we trust in Him, He empowers us and when we think we are too tired to go on, He strengthens us. He has outpoured His Mercy to the point of overflowing and has made all things well. Amen
